Visiting the Old ‘Hood #hermosabeach

I decided to do a quick visit with a friend in the South Bay for a few hours after I dropped off Lil Dude at school and since I got a bit earlier than we’d planned, I decided to visit my old ‘hood.

Yup, Hermosa Beach is my old neighborhood. I didn’t live on the Strand but one block away. I still got amazing views of the ocean and at night, my friend and I would take long walks on the Strand. In the mornings, I got together with friends to play beach volleyball.

That’s ancient history now since I moved away from the South Bay when I got married but my studio office is still there and I go see longtime clients once a week.

It was a cloudy and dreary day but there’s nothing like feeling the sand between your toes and hear the surf. Today was a first for me to park the car and get on the sand and I even did a live stream while I was at it on Instagram. I had no idea what I was doing but to whoever saw it, thanks for watching!
