Last month, my goals were pretty simple. I think there were 4 of them. Finish the holiday novella; extend Campbell’s story arc; and write a Halloween erotica short for Naughty Pen.
Well, as of today, I have 2 more holiday novellas to write, one Halloween erotica short AND one Halloween Reverse Harem novella to write for Naughty Pen. And that’s not including expanding Campbell’s book to round out his character arc.
Methinks I went from hardly nothing done last month to having too much to be done this month and it’s only October 1st. Well, 2nd by the time I click Publish on this post.
I did set a Preorder date for The Replacement Fiance, thus going back on my word about never setting a preorder date again. But because the book is 90% done, it made sense. However, it’s the first book I’ve set at 99 cents for preorder and it feels a bit weird. But I’m kinda working on a strategy, and that’s why I need to outline and write two more books to make it a three-book holiday series.
Here’s the first book now available for preorder exclusively on Kindle Unlimited.
I did change the title because it made more sense to the story. And the rest of the books (if I can get them plotted and written in time) will follow the same template. And yes, the covers are all done as well. All I need now are the stories to go with them.
I’m also scrambling to finish a 6k word erotica story for Naughty Pen. Once that’s done, then I can tackle the Halloween Reverse Harem novella—but only after everything else is done. I don’t know why I’m doing it this way but like everything from here on, there’s a strategy. We’ll see how it goes.
Oh, and before I go, I did manage to create a box set for my Different Kind of Love series. I’ve been meaning to do this for weeks but was just too lazy to design a better box set than the one I had made a few weeks ago… until tonight.
And I think I got it right this time. If you’ve ever wanted to do box sets and you have Photoshop, Covervault is your man. He’s got the templates and he’s got quite a few free ones.
